Slurry pump wet end parts production process

1. Add resin and power sand to resin sand. Coated sand first needs to be shelled.

2. Modeling (filling sand, brushing paint, drying, core setting, box closing)

3. Smelting: add the raw materials into the smelting furnace and heat it to melt, and take samples and test to pass the test.

4. Casting: When the temperature in the smelting furnace reaches, pour the molten iron into the sand mold along the riser at a suitable speed.

5. Stuffy box: put it for a period of time after pouring the fire (generally 24 hours for small pieces, 2-4 days for large pieces) to slowly cool down.

6. Unpacking: Open the sand box after the time of the stuffy box is up, lift out the castings, and cut off the riser.

7. Sand cleaning: After unpacking, the castings will be do sand cleaning in the shot blasting machine.

8. Grinding: The castings after unpacking will still have some casting flashes, excess risers and other problems, which need to be polished.

9. Heat treatment: No drilling is required, and the threaded parts such as front and rear guard plates, sheaths, etc. are directly fed into the normalizing furnace for normalizing. The impeller and some special accessories enter the annealing furnace for annealing and softening.

10. Warehousing: The processed rough products are registered into the rough warehouse

11. Machining: direct machining from the rough warehouse, and the impeller do the statically balance

12. Heat treatment: normalizing and hardening after annealing and softening

13. Painting: The processed parts are painted in the painting workshop

14.After finished, send to the product storage

Annealing: It is to heat the cast overcurrent parts to a certain temperature, and then slowly cool with the furnace after heat preservation. (Purpose: to homogenize the chemical composition and structure of the steel, refine the grains, adjust the hardness, eliminate internal stress and work hardening, improve the forming and machinability of the steel, and prepare the structure for quenching.)

Normalizing (quenching): It is to heat the cast overcurrent parts to a certain temperature, and then slowly cool with the furnace after heat preservation (the heating temperature of normalizing and annealing is similar, but the cooling rate of normalizing is faster, the transformation temperature is lower, and The amount of ferrite in the fire structure is small, the pearlite structure is fine, and the strength and hardness of the steel are higher. Purpose: to improve the strength and hardness)
